Individual Therapy

Taking a trauma-informed approach to healing

Evidence has shown us that we can’t “out-think” or “out-talk” trauma, and EMDR has been proven in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions and other distressing life experiences.

Standing for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR therapy is an extensively researched psychotherapy that helps clients recover from Trauma and PTSD symptoms.

Kara Kalin has utilized EMDR with first responders, healthcare workers, clients diagnosed with cancer and ongoing health prognosis, IBS, vicarious trauma in the workplace, workplace accidents and injuries and MVA accidents.

Kara adapts each session to the needs of the individual client and integrates her mental skills training and her extensive background in sport and private practice to meet each client where they are at.
